Bridge: Rubber Bridge! 1.0

Bridge is a card game that is played using a standard deck of 52 cards by four players in partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other.

The objective of Bridge is to complete a rubber, which occurs when one team wins two games, each with a score of 100 or more contract points.

Each player receives 13 cards, and the deal rotates clockwise after each hand until the rubber is completed.

The contract to be played is determined through an auction where players bid for the number of tricks they anticipate winning with a specified trump suit or no trumps. A bid represents the number of tricks a team will win over 6 tricks.

Once the contract is set, the player who first mentioned the contract suit becomes the declarer, with the opening lead made by the player to the left of the declarer. The declarer's partner then places their hand face up on the table as a dummy. Players take turns playing a card to each trick, following suit if possible or trumping otherwise. The trick is won by the highest card played unless a trump card is present. The winner leads to the following trick.

In Bridge scoring, each winning bid's value is scored "Below the line," while extra tricks, bonuses, and penalties are scored "Above the line."
